This year is our 3rd year as a Rotaract Club and to celebrate it we spent few hours with disable children at YPAC Nusa Dua. There were about 25 children and played few games i.e singing, coloring, play origami etc.

The day was finished by lunch together and also provided some prices for winner.

In our 3rd year, we are really grateful about our club but need to learn more and more so we are helping more people in Bali and surrounding island.

Happy Birthday RACUS!!!

Another chance from our Rotary Club of Bali Nusa Dua to us to be in charge in Putting Green Contest. We asked all golfer to follow the contest before tournament started and they pay Rp.10,000 for 3 golf balls.

Each person should put the ball in the 7 holes. Most people were missed. All the money collected are for us which is great. We finally were able to get some more funds for our charity projects.

Thank you for Rotary Nusa Dua, Bali Golf and Golfer.

8 November is Rotaract Nusa Dua Anniversary so to celebrate our special day, we will do few projects of community service, club service and also other event.

After we did a packing for donation for Merapi, we had planted 350 mangroves at Sumber Kima Singaraja, North Bali. This was our first time to do it there and we planted from the seed….very interesting and quicker than we thought. We only need 30minutes for all 350 mangroves.

In that area, mangrove is different with Denpasar so we planted Micropora Mangrove and hope they will grow to keep the land from sea abrasion.

October was sad months for Indonesia. We had 3 disasters, volcanoes eruption in Yogyakarta Middle Java, tsunami in Mentawai Island Sumatra and flood in Wasior Papua. Many many people killed and lost their family and home.

To help little bit their sadness, we are collecting donation from friends and also some hotels in Nusa Dua. Then we packed all donation and send 15 boxes of sheets, towels, cloths etc to Posko Rotary Peduli Merapi on Monday, 8 November 2010.

Hope they can be used for them. Always Pray and Act for Indonesia.

To goal our Community Service Project, we met Pak Mulyono from Pelajar Cinta Alam. We want to learn how to help the rubbishes problem in Bali which are getting big issue.

Our main project is to give a presentation to elementary school children about how dangerous the rubbish and also provide two different bins of organic and un-organic rubbishes.

Pak Mul gave me alot of information and we know better now that we really need to move forward faster.

Happened at The Bale, we were helping Rotary Nusa Dua to sell the raffle tickets to the all invited people. Started at 6pm, we tried to persuade everybody to buy the tickets…:)

Finally at 9pm, we got Rp.8,0000,000 + US$10…great!!! As there were not many people came and most of them were happy with free food and drinks, arranged by Hello Bali Magazine.

Thanks to Rotaractors, Rtn Edward, Rtn Dave, Rtn Eni and all people whom bought the tickets.
