Celebrating President Arta with our Racus tradition of breaking the eggs and showering some powder on his head was fun. We did it after our special day with 65 children in Petang.

We had to push him to accept this traditional even in his car.

Congratulation President Arta….wish you all the best for your own life and for Rac Nusa Dua.

We were also visiting our little friends, Agus and Dewi whom had skin disease. Their cream was finished so we brought some more which donated by our Australian friend, Gaye McMullen.

Agus and Dewi look better and better. We are so happy even though we can not help them much as the disease can not be removed. Can only make it soft with the cream so there is not blood coming out from their skin.

Agus, Dewi and Family, hope you are able to go through all this, happy and keep smile. We all are behind you.

Petang Village

Arrived at 11am, and 65 children with happy face welcoming us. The day was started with introduction and then few games. All were very enthusiasm.

This was our 2nd visit after we made our permanent library for children in this village. And also did a healthy champaign for teeth healthy and washing hand. We know that most of children do not care about it specially when the parents also do not care because they are so busy working. And in Petang, most parents are working on farm so most of them have little care with their children.

The presentation was done with President Arta for about 30minutes and then they were doing a practice. We were donating toothpaste, brush, soap and a little bucket for them to use and take away.

At 1pm, the party was over and we enjoyed little snacks with them and also gave little presents whom won the games.

Great and Fun Day.

Banyuwangi 5 – 11 September 2010

Great chance that we could do little Club Service by visiting these two tourism places in Banyuwangi. Banyuwangi is our neighbor island, which is about 150KM from Denpasar.

One of our member is coming from one village in this regency so we went to visit her and family for Idhul Fitri Celebration Holiday.

Three of us were taking motorbikes and explored these hidden places.

Sukamade is located on South of Banyuwangi, about 75KM from town and Ijen is about 30KM. Both places are still very natural. Ijen is the biggest sulfur production in Indonesia. We met many tourists in Ijen as this place is getting popular nowadays.

Most of the days were raining but we were so lucky to be able to make the trip.
